Job Title Account Executive – Legal & Insurance Portfolio

The Role:

As an Account Executive you will find yourself working alongside the senior account manager for the Legal & Insurance Product Porfolio, selling sponsorship and advertising opportunities across our market-leading conferences, awards ceremonies and online media. The Senior Account Manager will allocate accounts to you and help you; find opportunities, produce custom proposals to clients budgets and overcome objections to close your sales and get the reward you deserve. You will also be involved in our events, this is the fun bit. Attending the conferences and awards that you have sold.

Reports to:

The Account Manager

About You:

You have had some prior sales experience, usually about one or two years, although probably not in sponsorship and media. However, if you do have experience in either the legal or insurance sector or in sponsorship and media sales then you have an advantage . You will need to be is ambitious, tenacious and not be too worried about rejection as you are probably quite experienced at handling objections. You will have excellent communication skills and ability to build relationships with clients. You will be able to establish an understanding of the complex market and be able to Identify and research new revenue opportunities. You will have a passion for smashing targets, meeting individual KPI and obviously for earning money.

Education Requirements:

We are not too bothered about your education, we are more interested in demonstrating a willingness to work and get on life. However, to meet the key duties and responsibilities you will have some academic success.

Progression:

As you learn and grow we would expect you to move on to be an Account Manager with your own portfolio of products within two years.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

Prospecting new business by establishing contact with potential clients

Working towards project targets

Working within a team environment

Follow the sales admin process, including documenting information accurately onto the CRM

To ensure all client information is up to date

Ensure Client care is maintained at all times

The benefits:

A basic salary of £23,000 (OTE +£25,000)

Unlimited commission structure

Bonus on achieving KPI’s

23 days holiday rising to 25 after 2 years of service
